Week Three: Ecology, Urgency, Dharma Poetics
A week of exploring the question: How do the artist, the writers of all kinds, performers lead the way in turning our destruction of our earth and its beings, all beings.

But the workshop I was in was HOCUS-LOCUS: Occultation, Place, Placelessness lead by Dr. Tyrone Williams who teaches literature and theory at Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio. He has published three books of poetry, "C.C.", "On Spec",
and "The Hero Project of the Century". We had a lively class of writing, hearing everyone's work and laughing a lot. I hope to have soe of the work on this blog besides my own.

Week Four: Economics of the Counter Culture: Performance, Publishing, Collaboration
As I write this, we being on Monday July 4th.

Dr. Harryette Mullen will be our teacher for what is titled, "Poetry Workshop" She has published many things, her poetry is in over 40 anthologies. Two of her six poetry books are "Blues Baby" and "Sleeping with the Dictionary" She lives in LA, CA.
